Our Youth Hockey programs are an excellent way to encourage and teach children the sport of hockey. Program emphasize a positive and enjoyable atmosphere where all participants feel welcome and look forward to their experience at the rink. We have adapted the policies of Safesport. (see link below.)
Youth Hockey Progression
- Beginner Hockey Skating First step to learning to play hockey!
- Sign-up Online For Beginner Hockey Skating
- The development of the player’s skills and creating a desire to play the game for competitive Travel Hockey or High School are one of the many aspects of our youth programs.
- Twice a week program 1 game and 1 practice with no hockey experience required for Mites.
- Enjoyable “Learn to Play” atmosphere.
- Skills, Games, Scrimmages and Fun- Beginners welcome.
- Full Equipment required.
- All Players must be a member of USA Hockey Please register no charge for 6 and under
- Learn 2 Play. Hockey Starter Program Mini-mites 4-6 yrs old, Hockey Basics 7-12 yrs old
- AV Youth Beginner Leagues ADM Mites 4-6 yrs old
- AV Community Hockey Leagues Mites(8u), Squirts(10u), Peewees(12u), Bantams(14u)

NEW! Effective with the 2019-2020 season: All USA Hockey Affiliates (CAHA) must provide information about online SafeSport education to both parents and minor age players.
- The USA Hockey SafeSport Webpage will post this information when it becomes available.
- Parents/guardians must acknowledge the online training before a minor can take it.
- No identifying information on minors taking the training (unless they are 17 years of age) will be collected or reported.
