SKATING SCHOOL

ALISO VIEJO ICE PALACE SKATING SCHOOL

Skating School is for all ages and levels, so skaters can begin their skating journey and realize their skating dreams anytime! Classes are 30 minutes long and include a FREE practice on the afternoon Public Session on the day of class. Skating School is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. There are several public sessions for you and your family and friends to come hang out and practice skills

ENROLLMENT

Class registration must be completed online through our Customer Portal. All registrants must be Learn to Skate USA Members. Register here.

You may begin class(es) the day you register or the next scheduled Skating School Day. If you need a specific start date, please sign up on that day or notify our Skating School Administrator, Emma at emma@avicepalace.com.

Your recurring monthly payment is on the 1st of every month. If you sign up after the 1st of the month, your dues will be prorated.

BILLING

Pay as low as $30 per class!

1st Class

$30 per class meeting, billed on the first of each month

Ex - If there are 4 Mondays in a month, your charge will be $120. If there are 5 Mondays in a month, your charge will be $150.

2nd Class

Add an 2nd class for an additional $25 per class meeting! Add Stroking class for an additional $30 per class meeting!

Family Discounts

Any additional family member in your customer portal will only be charged $28 per class meeting, billed monthly

No more paying for blackout dates.If the rink is closed for a holiday, maintence or tournament, you will not be charged. No more hassle of trying to makeup those classes.

Still includes free admission to the public session & skate rental the same afternoon as class (a $25 value!)

THINGS TO KNOW!

Make sure your skater is dressed warmly. Don’t forget to bring gloves or mittens. All protective gear (i.e. helmets, knee pads, etc.) is optional. Please arrive early. Lane assignments will be posted at the entrances to the ice and at the Box Office. These charts will let you know where you need to go and who your instructor will be. Skates should be snug and tied tightly. If you have any questions about fitting skates, please ask for assistance!
A free practice session is included on the day of your class. To redeem each practice session, students are required to check in at the box office to receive a wristband prior to entering the ice. Please remember these practice sessions are for the student only.
If a parent or sibling would like to skate with the student, they are able to purchase admission and skate rentals at the the box office
We encourage all students to use this ice time to maximize their skating potential.
Skating School makeup tokens are automatically created when a student is marked absent during their regularly scheduled class. So while appreciated, there is no need to let us know ahead of time that your student will be missing class. The skater can makeup as many classes as missed, schedule permitting. You can check on the status of your make up tokens and schedule makeup classes up to 14 days out from your customer portal.
Makeup tokens expire 30 days from the missed class and cannot be transferred to siblings for credit, and must be used while the skater is actively enrolled. If you have any questions, please contact Emma at Emma@avicepalace.com
