The Ice Palace Academy replaces Basic 6 - Free Skate 6 with a modern, ability-based group format that keeps skaters motivated and progressing. Skaters will build skills in a rotating, collaborative environment that fosters fun, creativity, and confidence.

Covers foundational skills through advanced spins, jumps, and choreography.

• Creative & Technical Balance

Building confident, well-rounded skaters.

Includes=

Public session the day of class and one FREE freestyle session per month!

ACADEMY LEVELS

  • Building technique with first jumps, spins & edge control.

    - Core Elements Include (but not limited to) - Backward 3-turns, Toe-loop, Salchow, Half flip/lutz, & Beginning backspin.

    **PREREQUISITE: SKATERS MUST HAVE PASSED PRE-ACADEMY**

  • -Progressing into jump and spin combinations, power moves & performance

    - Core Elements Include (but not limited to) - Power 3-turns, Loop, Flip, Euler, Forward

    Scratch/Back Scratch Combination & Sit spin.

    PREREQUISITE: SKATERS MUST HAVE PASSED ACADEMY I**

  • Advanced spin variations, Axel/double prep, and artistry and movement.

    - Core Elements Include (but not limited to) - Twizzles, Knee slides, Illusions, Lutz, Axel,

    Camel/Camel combinations, Layback, & Flying spins.

    **PREREQUISITE: SKATERS MUST HAVE PASSED ACADEMY II**
